Reasons to do:
Amazing Adventurous trek- Covered by mighty mountains and lapped by the Parvati River, the trek can be classified as an “easy to moderate” trek. The tranquility of these mountains, which are thickly covered by grasses and bushes, and the impeccable rush of the river together create a feeling of an unspoiled jungle. The abundance of waterfalls, the small villages and smiling people, the orderly lifestyle and life “one with nature”, the feeling you get when hiking through the valley, is incomparable.
Unexplored by tourism- There may be various reasons. One is that this place is not directly related to a big city and you have to ftequentlyvchange buses to reach the start point of the trek. Train and flight options are unthinkable. Another reason may be the length of the trek, which is 14 km and can sometimes be very strenuous on the mountain. For these reasons the place is cheap, the culture and nature are untapped and the seclusion creates a space to soak up nature.
The Natural Hot Water Spring- Imagine walking 45 hours in the rugged mountains and being greeted by the natural hot water spring at the top of the mountain, surrounded by many more cloud-capped and snow-capped mountains. The place welcome you after all your tiredness.
Budget Travel- When you arrive in Barshaini everything is pretty affordable. Daily commute is free as you have no choice but to walk. The stay is already cheap as the nearby towns have wood. Host families where the hosts prepare the food and have other basic services such as electricity and internet available. You can stay in one of these three cities: Kalga, Pulga and Tulga.
Heaven for stoners-The trek starts at the place called Barshaini and Tosh is 3 km from there. Tosh is popular for sourcing all kinds of hash and things are considered good. Apart from that, strangely enough, during the walk you will find many people selling things to you. The place is full of Israelis, and this area is a bit of Israel in India.
