When you’re first dipping your toe into the massive world of destiny, let’s get started. The first thing you’re going to be asked to do is to pick a class and I could go on for hours about the differences between these classes.
The community certainly has their favorites but I think the Malays very much personify them. The hunter is all about precision and finesses the warlock has literal space magic and then the Titans simply flying means you in the skull.
Now I am a Die Hard Titan fan but I don’t necessarily want to influence you guys you know I’m taking time but don’t stress too much over this choice. As you can create 2 more characters for the 2 other classes once you do pay. However, you’re going to be asked to customize the look of your guardian.

The Cosmodrome.

Likely the beginning story missions are pretty easy to understand and pretty clear. I’m going to be popping in to provide additional important information in their direction. Now after meeting the friendly guardian Shaw’s hand you’re going to be directed to this chest.
Once you open it you’re gonna get a piece of loot and this is your first taste of the massive looting experience within destiny 2. Now I got a new weapon, the Bali who hand cannon and you may be wondering why is this one blue and the other ones are white then I got green armor.
Rarities in destiny 2
Well, let’s talk about the different rarities in destiny 2 firstly let’s talk about the weapons. The lowest rarities are green and white we have this green auto rifle here. It doesn’t even have a main perk and it’s extremely basic moving upward.
From there we have another auto rifle this time. It’s blue the main difference being it has a main perk in this case rampage kills with this weapon temporarily grants increased damage stacks up to 3 times and you can see when a killed enemy. My gun starts to glow and I do more and more damage. Obviously, that’s quite a bit better than the green version but we continue upwards from there.
Next, we have a purple or legendary rarity. Here I have the gnawing hunger another auto rifle and in this case, I can actually choose between multiple different perks adjusting the status as you can see in the right-hand corner and I have 2 main perks.
So firstly I have to trigger the grass for a short period of increased ability and accuracy on the initial trigger pull I’m combining it with a kill clip. So if I reload after a kill that grants a damage bonus importantly for legendary weapons they have random rolls I have another non-hunger here same weapon but a totally different random roll.
The 2 main parks
This time I’ve got the 2 main parks firstly subsystems were killed and partially reload the magazine from reserves and that combines perfectly with what we saw before the rampage. Another outage of legendary weapons as you can see is that you could put on a weapon moss to them.
In this case, I have rampage spec to make rampage last longer and again this is a significant movement over the blue rarity but there’s one more exotic rarity weapon still here we have the exotic Soros regime auto rifle which has a totally unique perk called cirrhosis legacy.
The bottom half of each magazine deals bonus damage it has a chance to return to health on a kill I can also change between 2 different firing modes of this weapon. The one I have on is spinning up holding down the trigger increases the rate of fire and this thing in P. V. P. is an absolute monster.
Class abilities
In fact, exotic weapons are so powerful you can only equip one exotic weapon, and why. An exotic armor piece on your character at a time so choose wisely. However, it’s time to go on from there. Now as you’re playing that initial quest you’re probably going to notice you have a lot of abilities you have grenades you have a special melee and you have a class ability.
Each 1 of those is going to be different depending on what class you picked and what sub-class you are on. However you will have 1 subclass to start with you can open up your menu and go into that of class and as you can see right here choose between different grenades you can choose between different class abilities and even you can choose, between different styles of movement in the case of different jumps.
Not only that you have 2 different nodes of perks that you can choose from top treat or bottom tree these are usually pretty darn different from 1 another. So take some time to read the perks that come with it and choose whatever 1 you want I’m going with the top tree striker so I get to grenades continuing on from there something else.
You may find your journey is this weird object on the ground it’s glowing blue it’s kind of hectic Donald. What exactly is this well this is an N. gram and it contains a lot as you can see when I pick it up. I get a new armor piece the color of the engram correlates to the quality of loot if it was purple I would get a legendary and you can even get exotic engrams of luck out with a new exotic as well.
Former rarities and system
Now since I got this new blue chess my first piece of blue armor. Let’s talk about former rarities and systems within destiny 2. One of the first things are going to notice is that blue armor had an energy system where green really doesn’t and what this lets you do is equip armor mods different mods are going to cost a different amount of energy.
You can see right here this minor strength mod costs 1 out of my 5 energy but the minor intellect mod costs too what the heck do those things mean for intellect and strength. Well if we take a look at the stats on the right-hand corner it’s actually. Ability increases your movement speed and jump height resilience increases your health recovery and increases how fast you regenerate health discipline.
Increases your grenade recharge intellect increases your super ability recharge and strength, increases your melee ability recharge, and if you look at the character screen it actually tells you if I hover over intellect how long it takes to recharge. So if I don’t get any kills it’s going to take a full 6 minutes and 22 seconds and I only have around 16 out of 100 intellect.
So every 10 intellect I go up and tear. So that means if I have 16 I could put on this into like tomorrow which gives me plus 5 and then as you can see over the next tier because I have 21 now my recharge is only 5 minutes and 43 seconds and I can get that all the way up to 100 or 10 tiers of the intellect for a substantially faster recharging super or to increase my movement speed via mobility or throw a ton of grenades via discipline.
This is how you start to crop you’re built for light armor that has this task you want.

Upgrade your armor
So beyond blue legendary armor as you can see so this has been more mod slots she did a quick more beneficial things at a time if you hover over the energy meter. You’ll also notice that you can upgrade your armor this is going to increase the amount of energy you have at your disposal. If you were to upgrade that blue armor it would have 6 energy total and then you could equip more mods or different better months.
Obviously, you want to save your resources for upgrading legendary armor when you do fully must work a piece of jewelry armor as you can see right here. You have 10 energy total a bunch of different mod slots and if you look in the right-hand corner a masterwork piece of armor gets plus 2 all of those different stats.
And of course, there’s exotic armor as well these are ocean nobles Val they give you an extra skip and could give good energy back when you get chills with those skip grenades you can have some pretty awesome grenadier builds with this thing.
Now you’re not going to need to have to worry about the whole master working thing for quite a while but the main takeaway with armor is that the higher the stats you have with a total of 60 or better is considered good and the more energy you have the more powerful bodies of armor is.
3 different elements of armor
Armor also comes in 3 different elements and those elements just let you equip different kinds of seasonal boxed no continuing on from there. you’re going to actually gain access to bounties you can purchase bounties for glimmer a pretty common resource that you get just by keeping it mostly and when you complete about you by doing it objectively.

Now keep in mind if you get a special or a heavy weapon you really enjoyed using you can equip finder or scavenger mods in your armor to get more animals for the intact but right now it looks like you’re going to be awarded your first legendary weapon this night.
Watch sky full and no joke the role comes with is very very good. However, now that you actually have one it’s time to take another look at legendary weapons because there are some options that blue weapons just don’t have aside from just a model out first off just like armor.
