- Length of latus rectum of ellipse = 2b2/a
- The standard equation of a hyperbola is given by (x2/a2) – (y2/b2) = 1
- The eccentricity of the ellipse, 0 < e < 1
- The eccentricity of the hyperbola, e > 1
- For hyperbolas, the length of the latus rectum is given by 2b2/a.
- For an ellipse, the length of the major axis = 2a.
